Chiltern wins new contract with Pourshins

PETERBOROUGH-based temperature controlled specialist Chiltern Cold Storage Group has secured a major three-year contract with Pourshins Supplair.

Commencing on March 12, 2012, the contract will provide transport operations throughout the UK and Ireland and will complement the warehousing contract that has been operated by Chiltern for the past nine years.

Chiltern managing director Paul Jackson said: “Pourshins Supplair has demonstrated its confidence in Chiltern by awarding this major contract and I am delighted that we are able to build on our existing relationship. It is a clear reflection of our ability to meet their needs in a challenging marketplace.”

John Metcalfe, director of European operations at Pourshins Supplair, said: “We are delighted to be able to extend our long standing business relationship with Chiltern Cold Storage with this contract award as our UK and Ireland transportation provider.

“The understanding of our specific business requirements and the flexibility, drive and enthusiasm of the whole Chiltern team to provide the highest level of service at a competitive price are greatly appreciated by us here at Pourshins Supplair.”

Pourshins, part of the Gategroup, is an independent global provider of products and services related to a passenger’s on-board experience.
