Burnt Tree celebrates 10 years in city
BURNT Tree Vehicle Rental’s Peterborough branch has celebrated its 10th anniversary following a £45,000 investment in refurbishing the premises.
At a recent open day, the new-look branch was officially opened by Robbie Brown and Richard Bentham of the Peterborough Phantoms ice hockey team.
Visitors were able to see improvements including a newly-extended reception area at the side of the building, new signs across the site and a newly resurfaced yard.
Upgrades have been made across all the branches to ensure the Burnt Tree experience is consistent for all customers.
The Peterborough branch has grown from 20 vehicles and three members of staff in 2002 to employing 15 staff and supplying more than 750 vehicles to business and individuals in the East of England.
Burnt Tree Peterborough has on-site maintenance facilities and workshops, and claims to have the newest and largest fleet of vehicles in the area.
Branch manager Kevin Matthews said: “We are excited about the year ahead. We are celebrating 10 productive years here in Peterborough as well as having transformed the branch with a significant amount of money being spent.”
