Preview: Liverpool sending a team full of unknowns to London Road

LIVERPOOL will be fielding a cast of unknowns at London Road tomorrow (July 19).

LIVERPOOL will be fielding a cast of unknowns at London Road tomorrow (July 19).But most of the squad played a big part in Liverpool capturing the Premier League Reserves title last season, including the latest batch of foreign imports.

Centre-back Daniel Ayala chose Liverpool ahead of Real Madrid when deciding to end his stay at Sevilla at the age of 17, while fellow defender Mikel San Jose moved to Anfield from another La Liga team, Athletic Bilbao

Miki Roque could make it three Spaniards in the back four following his recent move from Lleida.

Centre-half Ronald Huth is the first Paraguayan player to sign for Liverpool and attacking midfielder Vincent Weijl has made his way into this country from Dutch side AZ Alkmaar.

There is no place for Moulton-born centre-back Jack Hobbs. He's also not in the first-team squad who have a fixture against Polish side Wisla Krakow.
