Have your say

Your sporting heroes and villains of 2014...

I would say Ged Rathbone, Trevor Swales and everyone else who put in such a massive effort to save Peterboriugh Panthers speedway are heroes.

All those involved with junior football and cricket who do it right by creating an environment for children to enjoy sport.

Chairman Darragh MacAnthony for being patient, keeping the faith and not listening to some mindless idiot Posh fans.

I agree with Jo Pavey being your hero of the year.

Good to see some-one who clearly enjoys her sport doing so well. I voted for her to win BBC Sports Personality of the Year.

All who shout, sneer and swear at junior football matches

Junior cricketers who sledge and chirp every ball.

Sepp Blatter and the entire FIFA executive. No explanation required surely?

Sepp Blatter is the biggest villain in the history of sport.

He’s dragged football into the gutter and seems intent on keeping it there.

Any footballer who dives, any referee who fails to punish the divers and Jose Mourinho fordoing nothing about Chelsea’s divers.
