A service to mark United Nations Children’s Day will be held at Peterborough Cathedral tonight (Wednesday).

The service will take place from 7pm, and include readings, prayers and hymns from different religions, including Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Sikhism and Judaism.

The Peterborough Interfaith Council will also lead tributes to victims of terror attacks in Paris at the ceremony.

There will be refreshments after the service.
