Residents hand out a soaking

The weather and fundraising on the day surpassed all targets and expectations and the event was enjoyed by residents and their family and friends.

Longueville Court operations manager Kevin Gray got a soaking from residents during the day, with many also enjoying the music of Jacen Bruce.

There was also a bouncy castle for children to jump around on.

Kevin said: “The annual fête is an event that the whole home looks forward to and this year’s was no exception.

“It’s our chance to celebrate the good work of the home and to interact with the local community.”

The nursing home also raises funds throughout the year for the vital work the activities team do with all the residents at the home.
