Record crowds visited Riverford on Saturday for a free pumpkin carving event ready for a spooktacular Halloween.
Despite a chill in the air, visitors packed the organic farm for the annual event, which is growing in popularity every year.
Young and old alike trekked through the muddy fields to find the perfect pumpkin and then carved their own design.
There was also cooking demonstrations to enjoy with the chance to try a chocolate beetroot brownie or a courgette cake, which were surprisingly delicious, and tractor rides which youngsters made the most of.
Nyree Ambarchian, from Riverford, said everyone was delighted with how the day went.
