Pupils from Nene Park Academy in Peterborough visited the London Stock Exchange to battle it out against pupils from elsewhere in the UK to be crowned 2015 champions in the national final of the SKILL! programme.

SKILL! is designed to help pupils aged between 14 and 16 to develop work related skills such as collaboration, communication, clear thinking and creativity.

The teams from Nene Park Academy, as well as schools in Manchester and Reading, travelled to London to pitch their ideas to a panel of business experts.

Steve Howard, principal at Nene Park Academy, said: “We are extremely proud of what our pupils have achieved. They have gained a great deal from the experience and enjoyed the opportunity.”
