For almost 30 years our newspaper has been keeping you informed of the latest goings-on in Peterborough and the surrounding areas from the heart of the city.

But, from Friday our office will be on the other side of Bourges Boulevard at Unex House which is situated right next to Pets at Home, close to Asda in Rivergate.

The postcode for our new premises is PE1 1NG.

Peterborough Telegraph editor Mark Edwards said: “We are very much looking forward to moving into our new offices.

“Our parent company Johnston Press employs around 160 people in Peterborough and we will now be all under one roof at Unex House.

“The move will be tinged with a little sadness as we have enjoyed our three decades at Priestgate.

“But as the rest of the building in Priestgate is turned into flats it’s clear that it’s the right time for us to move - albeit just over the road.”

The paper has been based at the Priestgate building since Monday, November 17, 1986. Staff had previously been based at offices in Oundle Road, Woodston.

All current telephone numbers will remain the same during the move (see page 32).
