But supporters of Stewart Jackson need not worry just yet as the election was for the city’s youth MP.

The winner of the election was 16-year-old Jack Hunt student Georgie Windsor whose name was pulled out of a ballot box after receiving the same number of votes as The King’s School pupil Francesca Jones (17).

The election took place on Tuesday evening at Town Hall. Georgie takes over from incumbent Emily Fisher.

Francesca and Jay Brando-Lloyd (17) from Stanground Academy will be her deputies.
