Women are being urged to fight dirty when it comes to conquering cancer - by signing up now for an exciting new event from Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life team.

Peterborough has been chosen to host one of their Pretty Muddy events this summer, these are women-only, non-competitive 5k obstacle course races - with added mud.

It will take place for the first time at Peterborough Arena, East of England Showground on Sunday, 21 June.

Julie Braithwaite, Cancer Research UK’s Peterborough event manager, said: “Pretty Muddy promises all the fun and camaraderie of our much loved 5k and 10k events - just with an extra serving of mud.

“We’re calling on the brave ladies of Peterborough to pull on their leggings and take on cancer at this year’s event.”
