A 74-year-old motorcyclist from Peterborough was injured in a collision with a lorry in Oundle.

The collision happened in Barnwell Road, Oundle, yesterday (Tuesday) at 9,25am.

The red Aprilia RST 1000 motorbike, ridden by a 74-year-old man from Peterborough, was in collision with as DAF lorry, driven by a 53-year-old man from Wisbech. Both vehicles were travelling in the same direction.

The motorcyclist was taken by air ambulance to University Hospital Coventry with serious injuries.
