More than 30 riders met in Peterborough on Sunday (2 December) for the 4th annual Motorcycle Action Group ride in aid of Wood Green animal charity.

They set off from the Elm Tree pub, in Garton End Road, with a stop ‘en-route’ at the Huntington Garden & Leisure Centre for a meet with other bikers as well as a cuppa.

Funds for the charity were raised in many ways, such as members manning a market stall on a chilly Saturday in early November, selling gifts and donations given by the bikers and members of the public in order to raise cash for the Wood Green.

On Sunday a cheque for £141.61 was presented as well as the items such as chews, blankets and other nick knacks which were taken on the day. £52.70 was also raised for the Motorcycle Action Group by the riders on the day.
