OPINION: Bollards to you
The good people of Peterborough Civic Society tweeted this picture on Sunday evening with the following comment:'New car park? Cathedral Square 8.10pm this evening. Shouldn't the Long Causeway bollards be raised to prevent this?''
What I particularly (dis)like about this picture is that the driver not content with flouting the rules has made no attempt at subtlety by parking to the side but instead has virtually abandoned his car exactly where he felt like.
Perhaps the driver had good reason but I’ve seen people drive up in daylight and then get out and go to the bank, so I have my doubts.
