Remiss of you Swanny to rant about the absurd amount of money to be pumped into the Premier League by TV companies and not mention the devastating effect it will have on the likes of Posh.

The Championship just gets stronger every year thanks to Premier League clubs looking after their own with parachute payments.

Leicester will pick up about £90 million quid for being rubbish and finishing bottom of the Premier League this season.

They will have a huge built-in advantage over the other clubs in the Championship, especially clubs of Posh’s size that come up from League One.

The top two divisions will be a closed shop for clubs with big gates and big turnovers.

Romantic rises to the top will be a thing of the past. Don’t be fooled by Bournemouth’s success. They are where they are because of a billionaire owner more than the coaching skills of Eddie Howe.

The football and cricket World Cups show just how much greed there is.

The cricket event is far too long as it is.

The ICC are also kicking out all the associate nations even though they have produced the most exciting matches because broadcasters don’t think people want to watch the minnows.

There’ll be nobody for England to beat in 2019 when Scotland and UAE aren’t there.

Seven weeks is way too long for the cricket World Cup.

Only two of the so-called minnows should be allowed to compete.

@wackerlegend

Cricket is boring full stop.
