Sports fans in the city will be treated to some ‘old time hockey’ when the Peterborough Pirates veterans return to the ice.
The game will take place on Saturday, June 18 at Planet Ice, Peterborough, and will see a number of familiar faces to the city’s ice hockey fans lacing up the skates for a game against a Bracknell squad.
The game will be raising money for a number of local charities, including the East Anglian Air Ambulance. Tickets cost £7 for adults and £5 for children, with the game starting at 4.30pm.
Immediately following the Pirates game will be the annual Stuart Allen Memorial Shield between the Peterborough Predators and the MK Thunder, with money from this game going to the Bobby Scheme.
