The memorial will be officially dedicated on Thursday, May 5.

The memorial is located in a specially prepared area of All Saints’ churchyard in Wittering and is dedicated to personnel from the village and the station who lost their lives in the service of their country in the last hundred years. Among those expected to attend the dedication are members of Wittering Parish Council, personnel from RAF Wittering and current and former RAF Wittering station commanders.

The project was funded by Wittering Parish Council.
