A refurbished McDonald’s in Crowland Road, Eye Green has created 25 new jobs.

Mayor of Peterborough, Councillor Peach, and mayoress Janet Martin, alongside Councillors Peter Hiller and David Harrington, attended the store’s re-opening earlier this month.

The changes include self-order kiosks which will allow customers to browse the entire menu and check out the nutritional information of each meal at the same time.

And free-to-use tablets have been installed at some tables for customers who want to check the news and their emails or play the latest games.

The changes come after investment by local restaurant owner Matt Jarrett.

Paul Pomroy, CEO, McDonald’s UK, said: “Our converted restaurants like Eye Green will deliver a fast and easy experience, aided by digital and traditional ordering points ensuring we continue to be enjoyed by our customers.”
