A man was seriously injured in a crash on the A1 on Good Friday.
The crash happened on the A1 near Peterborough at about 9.30am.
Two cars were involved in the collision, and one man was trapped inside one of the cars.
The Magpas Helimedix team worked alongside crews from the East of England Ambulance Service to provide treatment to the man, who was aged in his 30s. Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue crews helped get the man out of the car safely.
He was taken to Peterborough City Hospital by land ambulance. On arrival at the hospital, the man was in a stable condition, and his injuries were not thought to be life threatening.
