Man airlifted to hospital after incident at Spalding Bus Station

A man has been airlifted to hospital after an incident at Spalding Bus Station involving a bus and a pedestrian.

The incident happened at 10.25am this morning.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire police said: “A man, who we believe is local, has been flown to the Queens Medical Centre with head injuries.

“We are appealing for anyone who was in the area and witnessed the collision to contact the witness appeal line on 01522 558855. We expect Winfrey Avenue, the road outside the bus station to remain closed until about 2.30pm.”
