A BRAVE television presenter is swapping cameras for canvas in a charity sky dive.
Leonie Pujol (40), a presenter on the Ideal Home shopping channel, which is based in Newark Road, hopes to raise thousands for the Still Birth and Neo-Natal Death (Sands) charity with a parachute jump.
Her baby boy Jacob died just five days after he was born and Sands provided vital support.
It runs a helpline which is manned by people who have suffered the same tragedy.
Leonie, of Peterborough, said: “Only now, four years later do I feel I can talk about what happened. I’m doing this because of the importance of Sands.
“They allowed me to grieve. When I was going a bit mad it was good to know there was someone who knew what I was going through.”
Leonie has managed to rope in about 20 other people, including two other presenters, to leap out of plane on May 11 at Sibson Airfield.
