Teams hunt for missing mother
SPECIALIST search and rescue teams were out looking for a missing mum yesterday as the hunt entered its twelfth day.
Mum-of-one Vitalija Baliutaviciene (29) has not been seen since the morning of Friday, August 12, prompting a massive appeal from police.
Yesterday they were joined by Cambridgeshire Search and Rescue (CAMSAR) as they combed the area around Star Pit in Eye, using canoes to search between the reed beds.
Vitalija has not been seen since leaving her home in Burmer Road, New England, at 5.10am on August 12, when she was due to walk down Lincoln Road to Geneva Street
It is believed she was wearing light blue three-quarter length jeans, a blue denim jacket and light plimsoll trainers.
