METAL thieves struck in a village and made off with a quantity of scrap metal.

METAL thieves struck in a village and made off with a quantity of scrap metal.Crooks targeted Hillcrest Avenue in Yaxley, near Peterborough, stealing the metal from the back garden of the property.

The incident happened between 9am and 10.30am on February 23.
