Ortons: Half-term activities

SCHOOL children in the Ortons will have plenty of activities to keep themselves busy during the half-term holidays that are coming up next month.

SCHOOL children in the Ortons will have plenty of activities to keep themselves busy during the half-term holidays that are coming up next month.There are free activities planned for youngsters aged from three to 11 for the week beginning February 15, at Orton Library. in Bushfield, Orton Goldhay, Peterborough.

Youngsters from three to seven can join the Watch The Birdie event, which will show them how to identify and look after the birds in their garden.

They can also take part in craft activities, sing-songs and listen to stories.

Children can wear their green balloon T-shirts to this event.

Watch The Birdie events will take place between 11am and noon on February 16 at the library.

Older children, who are aged from seven to 11, can take part in Wacky Winter Olympics events, which involve silly sports and challenges, from 2pm to 3pm on February 18.
