Motorist cut free after crash

A motorist had to be cut free from a vehicle by fire fighters following a collision near Peterborough today (Sunday).

Two fire engines attended after a collision between two vehicles near a BP service station in Great North Road at 3.42pm.

On arrival crews found that one person was trapped inside a vehicle and they worked to remove its roof.

The person was removed by crews by 4.19pm.
