Employers from Peterborough have been invited to listen to an inspirational talk by the winner of the first season of The Apprentice next week.

Peterborough Regional College have organised the World of Work Dinner to take place at The Bull Hotel from 6.30pm on Wednesday June 13.

It will see local employers from the construction, engineering and motor vehicle industry learn about how work experience programmes can benefit their companies and the local community.

Winner of the first season of The Apprentice, Tim Campbell MBE will be speaking at the event.

He has launched his own charity called The Bright Ideas Trust, which helps young people who not in education or training to start their own business.

David Raymond, construction team leader at PRC said: “We are looking forward to working together with many local partners to inspire and prepare our young people for when they enter the world of work.

“We currently deliver high quality training across all of our courses and adding an element of work based experience to that will only strengthen our young people even more.

“We are encouraging employers to come along, enjoy a nice meal and inspirational guest speaker. Our young people are the workforce of the future and can only develop further if they are exposed to priceless industry knowledge.”

Employers wanting to book onto the FREE evening launch dinner can contact Bridie Arnold on 01733 762297 or email bridie.arnold@peterborough.ac.uk.
