Fire crews tackle vehicle blaze at A1 petrol station

Fire crews have tackled a vehicle blaze at a petrol station near Peterborough this afternoon (Sunday, September 23).

Crews from Stanground and Dogsthorpe were called to the fire on the A1 northbound at Chesterton shortly after 3.15pm.

Firefighters used one hose reel and two sets of breathing apparatus to tackle the fire.

The cause of the outbreak has not yet been released.
