New Romantics star to host golf tournament

Tony Hadley.

Tony Hadley.

Spandau Ballet icon Tony Hadley will land in Peterborough tomorrow (Friday) as he hosts his annual celebrity charity golf day in aid of Action Medical Research.

To cut a long story short, the famous 80s singer will make a spectacular entrance at Elton Furze Golf Club tomorrow morning for the Tony Hadley Golf Classic.

It will be a good day for star spotters, with cricketing legend Ian Botham also understood to be taking part.

The PT knows this much is true, every team of three entered into the charity competition will be joined by a celebrity fourth player.

The day on the course will be followed by a celebrity gala dinner which will be held at the Peterborough Marriott Hotel, in Lynch Wood, in the evening.
