Friday, 12.40pm: A man has appeared in court in connection with a triple shooting in Peterborough.
Fred Smith (46), of Edgerley Drain Road, has been charged with three counts of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and once count of possession of a firearm.
The offences are alleged to have been committed against Thomas Holmes, James Holmes and Tony Draper on September 17 in Oxney Road.
In a case at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court which lasted less than 10 minutes, Smith spoke only to confirm his personal details.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Peterborough Crown Court on October 12.
