Items needed for charity sale
GENEROUS city residents are being urged to donate items like books, toys and jewellery for the Chernobyl Children’s Appeal.
A charity sale is at All Saints Church Hall, in Park Road, Peterborough, from 10am to 12noon on April 17 but organisers John and Rosie Sandall need more goods, but no big TVs or clothes, to sell to raise funds.
Anyone who can help should take goods to 51 Apsley Way, Longthorpe or call 01733 268340 to arrange collection.
