A former SAS soldier will be giving a talk about the reality of modern warfare at a lecture being held in Peterborough.

Ben Griffin, who is a former soldier and found of Veterans for Peace UK, and Chris Cole, founder of Drone Wars UK, will be speaking at Peterborough Peace Campaign’s public meeting called The Reality of War.

It is being held at the John Clare Theatre, Central Library, in Broadway, on Saturday, November 17.

Doors open at 1.15pm for a 2pm start.

Peterborough Peace Campaign member David Pybus said: “This is an excellent opportunity for members of the public to find out more about how wars are being fought today and why they should never be fought again.”
