Charity theft suspect re-bailed until March

A MAN arrested for the suspected theft of “several thousand pounds” from a family support charity has been re-bailed again.

The 50-year-old answered bail at Thorpe Wood Police Station last Thursday, but has had his bail extended now until March 12.

It follows an investigation into an alleged theft from Peterborough Diocesan Family Care, based at HighTrees, in Eastfield Road.

The man was arrested in November last year.
