Cyclist Jody Cundy, from Wisbech, and shooter Matt Skelhon, from Stilton, took home a bronze and a silver respectively at the Paralympic Games today (Saturday).medal in the 4km individual pursuit this afternoon (Saturday).
Skelhon bagged silver in the 10m Air Rifle Prone in a tense final that started at 4pm.
He shot to fame four years ago after grabbing gold at the Bejiing Paralympic Games.
The shooter used to play Wheelchair Basketball with the Peterborough Phoenix, but discovered he had a natural talent for Shooting at the 2006 Spinal Games at Stoke Mandeville.
Cundy, who is from Wisbech, was furious when denied a restart in his favoured one-kilometre time-trial event on day two, won a third-place race with Columbian Diego Duenas in the 4km individual pursuit.
Cundy had a foot amputated when he was three years old and previously represented Great Britain in swimming at the 1996 and 2004 Paralympic Games, winning three gold and two bronze medals.
