A man who allegedly stabbed himself in the stomach and was arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a girl, appeared at Peterborough Crown Court today (Thursday).
Nicholas Adams (34) was arrested in relation to an alleged incident in New England on August 4.
He also allegedly stabbed himself in the stomach in Eyrescroft in Bretton the same day.
Adams spoke only to confirm his name at the hearing.
He will return to the court on November 1 for a plea and case management hearing.
Judge Nick Madge ordered that Adams be remanded in custody until that date.
