Local firms could sponsor lollipops

REGARDS the lollipop patrol cutbacks planned in the city council’s budget.

If the council won’t pay, why not get local firms to sponsor a lollipop lady?

Perkins, Posh, BGL etc could all get their logos on the lollipop - it makes good sense to me.

If it is good enough for roundabouts, it must be worth our kids’ lives.
