I would like to reply to Mr David Boon's letter of Tuesday, where he quite rightly ponders the question, 'Is there anyone worth voting for?'Mr Boon, this is exactly the position I found myself in when considering the EU elections last year.
With the expenses scandal in full flow, trust, for me, became the most important question. I came across the English Democrats. Politics in this country is a shambles, and many politicians are a disgrace and care not one jot for the electorate.
England needs to re-affirm its identity, which has systematically been eroded by Labour and Europe, and should have its own Parliament for the benefit of all the people of England (regardless of race creed or colour).
Locally in Peterborough the English Democrats have two councillors working very hard, challenging the council over a wide range of issues, especially public spending.
I would ask you to look at our website, englishdemocrats.org.uk to look at the success of the English Democrat elected mayor in Doncaster in cutting unnecessary council spending by using common sense.
