Man in hospital after being attacked by gang with knife

A man was hospitalised after being attack with a knife by a gang of men in broad daylight.

The man was assaulted in Ambury Road, Huntingdon on Friday (February 5).

The victim, a man in his 30s, was assaulted with a retractable craft knife between 3pm and 4pm by three men described as being of Asian appearance, aged between 15 and 20 years-old. He received serious, but not life threatening, injuries as a result of the incident and was taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital for treatment.

Detective Constable Mat Belfitt said: “We’re urging anyone who witnessed the incident to contact us on 101.”
