Government business ambassador to inspire company leaders in Peterborough

Government business ambassador and small business expert Emma Jones will be the guest speaker at a business breakfast in Peterborough.

The founder of the home business website Enterprise Nation, Emma was awarded the MBE four year ago for services to enterprise and has started two businesses from home.

She was appointment by Prime Minister David Cameron last year as a Business Ambassador with a focus on increasing international trade.

She will headline Opportunity Peterborough’s Bondholder breakfast event on April 6.

Her talk will cover practical and inspirational ways of growing your business and she will be on hand to network and take questions from delegates.

She said: “Peterborough boasts a diverse and active business economy with real drive and ambition.

“I’m delighted to be given the opportunity to speak at the Bondholder breakfast to share my ideas for business growth which include focusing on international trade, selling to government and seeking out support.”

Sponsors of the event, city accountants Rawlinsons, will also share the findings from the 2016 Greater Peterborough Business Survey and will run a Business Bootcamp event straight after the Bondholder Breakfast to help small and medium sized companies ‘get into shape’.
