Insurance firm for young drivers moves to new Peterborough home after year of “exceptional growth”

The boss of a Peterborough company that is moving to bigger premises in the city says the firm has enjoyed a year of “exceptional growth”.

Marmalade, which specialises in providing cars and insurance for young drivers, is set to move into three-storey offices in Mallard Road, Bretton Way, early next month.

The company, currently in Storeys Bar Road, has agreed a five-year lease on the building, which totals 9,812 sq ft, and which used to be occupied by Fujifilm.

The building will be called Marmalade House.

Crispin Moger, chief executive of Marmalade, said: “It’s been an amazing year for Marmalade with exceptional growth seen across our product portfolio.

“We’re looking forward to continuing this pattern, helping many more young drivers to enjoy driving in a safe and affordable way.”

The deal was agreed by commercial agents Savills acting jointly with Barker Storey Matthews for owners PS47, of Basildon, Essex.
