Peterborough charity Hope into Action was awarded silver for the best social action project at the Christian Funders’ Forum (CFF) awards ceremony.
The event attended by business executives, philanthropists and faith leaders was held at The Charterhouse in London and honours the best social action initiatives in the UK.
Hope into Action believes local churches play a vital role in helping the homeless and those in a vulnerable situation.
Matt Bird, chair of the CFF, said: “It was such a privilege to present Hope into Action with the silver award. They throughly deserve it and are making a big difference in Peterborough and other cities in the lives of people who often face huge challenges.” Sarah Vassillades, Kelly, Ed Walker and Ian Mclean from the charity are pictured.
