Peterborough United have been giving their fans a lot to cheer about recently, and some of their players brought that joy to poorly children at Peterborough City Hospital yesterday by surprising them with Christmas presents.

Players such as Erhun Oztumer, Jack Baldwin and Ben Alnwick visited the Amazon Children’s Ward on Monday (December 14) to hand over a number of presents to children in the hospital.

And the footballers, who are currently fifth in League One, were joined by Posh mascot Peter Burrow as they handed over the presents to football fans including nine-year-old Taylor.
