Surgery book sale
A BOOK sale will be held later this month to raise funds for a city medical practice.
The Nene Valley Medical Practice Patient Participation Group is holding the event at the surgery in Clayton, Orton Goldhay, on Thursday, February 23, from 9am until noon.
The sale will feature a large number of books which will be suitable for all ages.
Ken Lambert, from the group, said: “The group was formed last year with the aim of aiding communication between the practice and its patients.
“We hold meetings on a monthly basis and members of staff also attend.
“We also aim to share information about developments and to arrange talks for the promotion of good health.”
The group is looking to increase in size, so any patients who would like to get involved can request details from the surgery.
