Invitation to new surgery this weekend

A NEW monthly surgery with a Peterborough City Council councillor is set to launch in West Town this weekend.

It will take place in St John’s Hall, in Mayors Walk, Peterborough, at 11am on the first Saturday of every month and give residents a chance to talk about any concerns, worries or hopes that they have about the area with Ravensthorpe Ward councillor Ed Murphy.

They will also be able to lobby the councillor on how the ward’s £10,000 annual Community Leadership Fund should be spent.

Cllr Murphy said: “Residents are welcome to come along and meet me to discuss local issues, ask for assistance or to let me know their views and opinion.

“I am also keen to hear from representatives from local groups that could make use of a small grant from the Community Leadership Fund.”

People do not have to book a slot in advance, but for more information people can reach Cllr Murphy by phoning 01733 315565.

Alternatively, people can send an e-mail to him at ed.murphy@peterborough.gov.uk.

The first session will take place at 11am this Saturday.
