Health body’s consultation

A CONSULTATION event on the future of Lincolnshire’s community health provider will be held in Spalding.

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) will hold the information event on its future plans to become an NHS Foundation Trust at Spalding Grammar School from 6.30pm to 8pm on Wednesday, February 1.

If the organisation becomes a foundation trust, it will be able to recruit members and governors to influence the health body’s performance.

LCHS chairman Dr Don White, said: “The proposals set out a number of priorities to improve our services, the recruitment of members and governance arrangements – this is what we want your views on.”
