Fire fighters tackling large blaze in north of Peterborough
Fire fighters are at the scene of a large blaze in Norwood Lane in Peterborough.
A number of residents reported seeing a thick plume of smoke coming from the north of the city.
A spokeswoman for Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue said: “Crews were called at 1.30pm to Norwood Lane.

Hide Ad“They arrived to find a large fire made up of waste and tyres. Cylinders are also involved.
“Crews from Dogsthorpe, March and a water carrier from Ramsey are at the scene.”
It is not known what caused the fire at this stage.
