The school only Catholic secondary school in the Peterborough area.
In September 2007 the school relocated to Reeves Way Site (old Hereward Community College site) so the former school building could be refurbished and extended.
Building work on the Park Lane Site is due to be completed in September 2009.
There are currently 744 pupils and 101 sixth form pupils, of which just over half are from the ethnic minority community.

A damning Ofsted report said the standards at St John Fisher school were "exceptionally low" and deemed the school's leadership and management as inadequate.
