THERE'S just a week to go before the Emcee performers brighten up the first days of March with a touch of Strictly Cabaret.

THERE'S just a week to go before the Emcee performers brighten up the first days of March with a touch of Strictly Cabaret. The show combines all the scenes and songs from your favourite musicals, and is on at Peterborough's Holiday Inn West from next Friday.

A purpose-built stage and full theatre sound and lighting system is being placed in the venue's Buckingham Suite to accommodate the show.

The suite will be set up in a traditional cabaret setting, where people can sit around their tables and enjoy their drinks alongside their friends while sitting back and enjoying the performance.

Set up by Monique Benoiton and Colin Smith (from the band Citizen Smith), Emcee Productions debut shows were held at the East of England Showground, last November. They are now back for more.

Monique said: "Cabaret performances are certainly increasing in popularity and this is an area that we want to continue to explore.

"Audiences loved the fact that they could enjoy many of their favourite Broadway and West End tunes, all within one show."

Keith Dalton will be returning as show compere to take audiences on a journey through a "Lifetime of Musicals" making it a show to remember for musicals lovers, young and old.

The team recently performed the show at a fundraising show at The Brewery Tap. They helped raise money for the Unicef children's charity Haiti appeal.

The shows are on March 5 at 7.30pm and March 6 at 1pm and 7pm. Show only tickets are 10. Two course meal and show tickets are 29.95.

To book call 01733 704303 or 07974 700285.
