Pampering for females only

WOMEN are invited to enjoy a female-only pamper evening and experience a wide range of holistic taster treatments.

WOMEN are invited to enjoy a female-only pamper evening and experience a wide range of holistic taster treatments.The evening had been organised by the business women’s sector of the Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce in support of Deafblind UK, a charity based in Cygnet Road, Hampton.

A host of taster treatments are on offer – from shoulder massage to reflexology.

Retail therapy will also be on offer, with stall holders selling a range of beauty products,

jewellery, handbags and more.

Tickets for the event, on June 25, cost 10, and include a glass of wine and nibbles on arrival and two 15-minute treatments, which can be booked during the evening.

Extra taster treatments can be booked for 5.

Family fun at nature reserve

A NUMBER of events have been planned to take place at Hampton Nature Reserve this summer.

On Saturday, June 20, there will be a family walk and pond dipping session, from 11am until 1pm.

There are also a number of volunteer sessions taking place at the reserve on Thursdays and Saturdays over the summer months.

On Thursdays, volunteers meet at 10.30am, and on Saturdays at 9.30am.

All sessions need to be booked in advance.

Brownies and Cubs meetings

CUBS and Brownies will hold meetings in Hampton this week.

The 17th Nene Cubs meet on Thursdays during term time, between 6pm and 7pm.

The get-togethers take place at the Hampton Hargate Community Room, in Hargate Way,

and are open to girls and boys aged between eight and 10.

The 1st Hampton Hargate Brownies meet on Wednesdays, at 6pm, at Hampton Hargate Primary School. The group is open to girls aged seven to 11.

Date for popular summer funday

A POPULAR summer funday will take place in Hampton next month.

Hampton Vale Parent Teacher Association will hold the funday on Saturday, June 27, from 11am until 3pm.
