Last year's Dad of the Year competition gave us a chance to highlight some of the best dads from the area.
The overall winner was Shaun Price, from Whittlesey, who impressed the judges as being a great dad to Nattaleigh (18) and Adam (17), despite having Scheuermann's disease, which causes backache and spinal curvature.
Before being diagnosed, Shaun ran the London Marathon three times and also ran from Hunstanton to Whittlesey four times, raising cash for charities, including Cancer Research and the British Heart Foundation.
ET editor Mark Edwards said: "We know there are some fantastic fathers in the Peterborough area, and like many parents, their kindness and love is often not celebrated publicly.
"This is a great chance to do just that, so I would urge as many people as possible to nominate their dads."
Marketing manager for Queensgate Phil Drinkwater said: "After the success of Marvellous Mums earlier on in the year, we're thrilled to be offering something special for the dads in Peterborough.
"If you've always thought
your dad is in the premier league then now's the time to nominate him to become Dad of the Year 2009.
"With a fantastic selection of prizes from an array of stores in Queensgate, we hope that this competition will make Fathers' Day very special for one lucky dad this year."
