ENJOY 'a kick up the eighties' with tributes to two of the best UK bands of their era. Both Blondied and The Jam'D, who are both Lincolnshire based, are performing at the Bourne Corn Exchange next week.
Blondied faithfully recreate the sound of Debbie Harry and Blondie. The show includes all Blondie's hits and more, from their raucous early records right up to the slick pop/rock that has become Blondie's trademark in the 21st century.
The set also includes some of Debbie Harry's solo hits, such as French Kissing in the USA and 'I Want that Man. Blondied's lead singer is Michelle Hendricks, perhaps the most strikingly realistic Debbie Harry look and sound alike imaginable. With numerous TV appearances to her credit, she is fast becoming one of the best known faces on the musical tribute scene.
The Jam'd were formed in 2006 an they have already gained a reputation for being the top tribute to The Jam, gigging up and down the UK, performing at clubs, scooter rallies and festivals.
Their attention to detail is second to none and they are totally committed to giving you an unforgettable night with their recreation of a Jam gig, with all the energy and passion of Paul Weller, Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckler.
The double-headed show is on Friday, March 5. Tickets cost 10 from 07828022241.
Forthcoming concerts at the venue include The Hamsters, The Jets and Complete Madness.
